Hello friends!
I wanted to give you a rundown of how this came about. I am a mom, wife, aunt, sister, grant-aunt, best friend and a daughter (in no particular order). I am all of these things but was just playing the role. Just doing what you gotta do, to get it done. It wasn’t until my 30’s that I started to think about what I wanted to be, what I wanted to do. I had no clue.
When I was 39 I decided to go back to school for interior decorating. I had finished up college in my 20’s and said I was done! But was never happy with my life. Go to work every day and absolutely hating it. Wishing my life away just for the weekends. So this time it wasn’t about money or supporting my family. This time it was for me. Even if I just use the skills at home I would feel better about my own house. As I think back I remember always cleaning and rearranging family members houses just to make them happy. I just wanted them to be proud of there own home. They say hindsight is 20/20.
So maybe this is what I was always meant to do. Home is my sanctuary against the world. A place to feel safe, cozy, and at peace. And that is what I feel passionate about, to give this to others. The place you can fall into your chair at the end of the day look around and smile. “This Is Home”
